The Bible I really use is the NASB John MacArthur Study Bible. If you have never been to his web site I can REALLY recommend it,
www.gty.org
there is so much good sound teaching to either watch, listen or read. I visit him every day and my friend who lives in the North and I "meet" every Monday at 12 noon to "share" a study together, we have chosen his teaching series in 1 and 2 Peter.
You are so blessed in your lovely country that you still have good sound men who are preaching the Word of God so powerfully.
I hope you enjoy reading your Bible every day and that you are truly blessed in doing so.
love to you,
Val xx Oxfordshire UKValhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01076836818181125344noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1202197488754815585.post-85884336990214275932011-01-10T17:33:11.545-05:002011-01-10T17:33:11.545-05:00I'm ashamed to say that I've never once re...I'm ashamed to say that I've never once read the Bible all the way through from beginning to end. I may check out that reading program for slackers! :)amy @ Life in Pink Hi-Topshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05474826187006197342noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1202197488754815585.post-64647235987802021092011-01-09T21:16:07.277-05:002011-01-09T21:16:07.277-05:00I use a devotional guide that I like so much that ...I use a devotional guide that I like so much that I bought copies for my Mom, Grandma, husband and in-laws. It goes through the Bible in a year, but every day you read some Old Testament, some New Testament, Psalms and Proverbs. In addition, the devotional gives background and answers questions that go along with the day's readings. We really enjoy it, but next time I think I will try to read it chronologically. I think it will make the books of the Prophets and Kings make much more sense.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
