We are...

...Furiously happily(!) sewing.


We hope by tomorrow Earthgirl will have a new dress to wear to a wedding, Easter, and all summer.  Inspired by my creative frenzy, Earthgirl is drafting an spron pattern for Samantha and Nellie.

Thanks, Miss Camellia! This is the third time we have made this pattern. We are going for the one on the left, no band at bottom, cap sleeves instead of ruffled. Last year we made the minidress (to wear with leggings (see 3/29/09 post), and the same dress but sleeveless and knee-length.

The brown and aqua fabric is stunning and will make a lovely dress for your daughter. Can't wait to see the finished product. Very sweet that it has inspired your daughter to do a spot of sewing too. Crafting with your kids is so much fun:)
