...but it's Summer

Yes, I said only 15 minutes, then it's back to some schoolwork. {We are doing a little school 2 days/week this summer to finish a few things we want to finish and to get further in Math just for fun}

But it's Summer, and Earthgirl and the little boy we watch are making frog houses in the cool damp sand under his playhouse, and it's Summer after all. There will be hotter days and rainier days to stay inside and enjoy some schoolwork, but today the frogs need houses and the children need fresh air and dirt.

As a kid, I used to love to play in the sand!

There have been some days that I threw my ideas of school out the window and just embraced the moment of childhood and let them be kids. We will get the work done on another day.

You're funny: math just for fun~ I feel like a bit of an ogre making JD continue his Barton lessons over the summer, but he's accepted it at this point. He knows he has to get it done before he can ask a friend to play, so he's usually begging me to get started before I've finished my breakfast. BTW, I think making frog houses and exploring the outdoors is very educational! I LOVE frogs!!!
